This roundtable, led by Dr Ashton Barnett-Vanes, explores the journey from academia to entrepreneurship. With a background in science, medicine and Bioengineering - Ash is now a Founder and full-time medical device entrepreneur. The session is for those considering whether start-ups/scale ups could be for them - either as a Founder, Scientist or Operator. It will be interactive and discussion-led, covering the journey from academia to entrepreneurship, building and funding ideas, developing products and leading teams.
