James Lind Alliance – MRC BBRAG Priority Setting Partnership

12pm – 4pm BST, 31 March 2025 ‐ 4 hours

Room: Hall 11b

Special Session

This session marks the official launch of the James Lind Alliance – MRC BBRAG Priority Setting Partnership, a major initiative aimed at identifying and addressing the most pressing unanswered questions in chronic respiratory diseases affecting Black children and adults in the UK.

A collaboration between the Medical Research Council’s (MRC) Black in Biomedical Advisory Group (BBRAG) and Asthma and Lung UK, this partnership ensures that research priorities are informed by the lived experiences of patients, carers, and clinicians. By centring the voices of those most affected, this initiative will help shape future studies and drive improvements in health outcomes for Black communities.

Gain insight into the partnership’s aims, the importance of inclusive research, and how they can contribute to setting the agenda for impactful studies.
