And the winners are! Our pitch perfect posters

The Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum may be over, but the celebrations continue. We’re delighted to announce the full list of abstract winners from the final day of the three-day conference.

The Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum may be over but the celebrations continue.

We’re delighted to announce the full list of abstract winners from the final day of the three-day conference.

Hosted by BBC broadcaster Merisha Stevenson, the Future Forum – the first of its kind in Europe - proved to be a great success, drawing more than 125 participating institutions, more than 50 exhibitors, 534 delegates and more than 170 abstract submissions from 12 countries across four continents. 

The conference brought together like-minded individuals from across the life sciences sector, higher education, and STEM, including metronics, medical robotics and AI technologies, to foster connections, champion equity, diversity, and inclusion, and showcase the incredible talent and richness of the community.

Winning presentations

Two awards were presented for the best talks and these went to Molly Crow and Daniel Harris.

Meanwhile, there were five winners of the coveted Lumi modules, sponsored by Reach Technologies, and these were: Wasseem Emam, Sofina Iqra, Dara Pierre, Michael Tadesse and Immaculata Ede.

And the winners of the undergraduate/MSc poster prizes were as follows: Ashleigh Scott, Gabriel Gibson, Kenechukwu Egwuonwu, Vaishnavi Mayya, Georgina Donovan, Adina Khan, Husna Mukunzi, Hannah Guy, Nicola Lena, Phoebe Davis, Yesmin Ali Begum, Barbara Kimani, Munavira Mukkoth, Manar Amasha, Priscilla Akosile, Leila Powell, Shugri Macalin, Mansi Tamboli, Abrar Kholwadia, Olamiju Cooper, Yassin ElSalamouny and Shahrooz Ghaedsharaf.
