Submit a session proposal
We invite you to submit your session ideas for Expert Panel Q&As, Workshops, and Roundtable Discussions. These sessions should cater to a broad spectrum of topics relevant to life sciences, including academic research, practical skills, career development, and initiatives that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by under-represented and marginalised communities.
Whether your focus is on cutting-edge research, advanced techniques in the lab, or strategies for professional growth, we welcome submissions that offer practical, actionable knowledge that participants can apply in their academic or professional pursuits.
TAKE THE STAGE
Our sessions bring ideas, stories and solutions that resonate across the life sciences. They share research, mentor emerging scientists, and create space for new collaborations.
We are looking for proposals that
- Share practical skills, tools and approaches that delegates can apply in their own careers
- Explore current challenges and opportunities in research, academia, industry and community practice
- Highlight diverse voices and lived experiences within the life sciences
- Inspire, support and educate participants at different career stages
Submission tips
- Keep your session proposal non-commercial (for sponsorship or exhibitor opportunities, please contact the MLSFF team separately)
- Adhere to the word limits set in each field
- Submit early for the best chance of selection. We review proposals on a rolling basis, but applications are welcome right up until the deadline
- If submitting on behalf of someone else, please include the speaker’s name, role and organisation
We encourage both new and experienced facilitators to apply. If you have ideas that will support professional growth and inclusion, we want to hear from you
