Apply for a grant

We believe that the advancement of life sciences and the enrichment of academia are significantly enhanced when individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and training are involved. To this end, we welcome applicants from various backgrounds and strongly encourage applications from individuals:

  • from marginalised groups that are currently underrepresented in the life sciences
  • from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • who identify as LGBTQIA+
  • with physical or mental disabilities, including neurodiversity
  • who are mature or non-traditional students
  • who bring diverse perspectives, as we believe inclusivity is key to driving innovation and progress in the life sciences.

Before applying for any grants, please make sure you have signed up to actively participate (e.g., by volunteering, submitting an abstract, speaking, hosting a session, or judging etc) and explored funding options through your institution. This helps ensure that our limited funds are directed to those who need them most.
