Join us at the Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum for the official launch of the James Lind Alliance – MRC BBRAG Priority Setting Partnership, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at tackling the most pressing unanswered questions in chronic respiratory diseases affecting Black children and adults in the UK.
The Medical Research Council's (MRC) Black in Biomedical Advisory Group (BBRAG) has partnered with Asthma and Lung UK to establish this Priority Setting Partnership, ensuring that research efforts are directly informed by the experiences and needs of patients, carers, and clinicians. This collaboration will play a vital role in shaping future studies and improving health outcomes for Black communities.
Date: Monday 31st March 2025
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Location: The Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum, the International Convention Conference (ICC), Birmingham, B1 2EA.
Be a part of the conversation that will help drive meaningful research and improve outcomes for Black communities affected by respiratory conditions.
All delegates attending the James Lind Alliance – MRC BBRAG Priority Setting Partnership launch event will also be able to enjoy the Monday programme of events at the MLS Future Forum. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore a range of sessions, and connect with others dedicated to improving research and representation in the life sciences.
Please contact Nicholas Farmer for any queries about the event.
We look forward to seeing you there!
