Mentorship Programme

Join our Mentorship Programme to connect, inspire, and lead a more inclusive community.

Do you want to play a pivotal role in empowering the next generation of life scientists? The Future Forum Mentorship Programme offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact. This initiative is designed to pair up-and-coming scientists with experienced mentors to offer support, advice, and a great chance to make valuable connections.

Whether you’re an established professional, early career academic (ECA), undergraduate, or an emerging scientist eager to learn, the Mentorship Programme offers a platform to connect, empower, and inspire.

Why Mentoring Matters

  • Mentoring has been proven to significantly benefit underrepresented students in STEM. Here’s why it’s so impactful:
  • Mentorship provides the support, guidance, and resources you need to navigate challenging coursework and stay on track in STEM studies.
  • Mentors help build your confidence and empower you to pursue your STEM aspirations with motivation and resilience.
  • Mentors connect you to professional networks and open doors to exciting career opportunities in STEM fields.
  • Mentoring contributes to a more diverse and inclusive STEM community, driving innovation and enriching the field for all.

How to Apply

If you’re interested in becoming a mentor or mentee for the Future Forum, please register your interest using the relevant form below. All mentorship meetings will be conducted online unless independently arranged between the mentor and mentee. We also hope to introduce mentors and mentees in person at the conference, if both are attending, creating an opportunity for deeper connections. This ensures a safe, flexible, and supportive environment for everyone involved.
